Kevipol® OTS |

| |
Kevipol ®OTS is a fast-wetting, high active anionic surfactant. This anionic wetting agent has emulsifying and dispersing characteristics. Its active ingredient gives the fastest wetting when compared with other most commonly used surfactants.
In textile wet processing, it is used mainly for wetting our goods where a very fast wetout is desired.
Characteristics of KEVIPOL®OTS are as follows.
- Miscible in all proportions with aliphatic and aromatic solvents such standard solvent and Varsol.
- Compatible with other anionic and nonionic surfactants.
- Good surface activity. Lowers surface tension of aqueous media.
- Reduces interfacial tension between water or salt solutions and water in soluble organic liquids.
- Effective emulsifier and dispersant.
- Stable in neutral solution; moderately stable in acid medium; shows decreasing activity at highly alkaline pH.

Application |
: IN DESIZING CUM MERCERISING :
KEVIPOL®OTS is used on weight of the fabric for desizing purpose. Fabric gets throughly wetted in the KEVIPOL®OTS solution.
The sizing materials swells during dwelling time and because of dispersing properties of KEVIPOL®OTS it gets removed during
subsequent process of washing.
IN WASHING :
KEVIPOL®OTS is used 3-4 g/l in print washer along with Hydro-Caustic reducing the Hydro-Caustic quantity by 50% use of
KEVIPOL®OTS increase washing efficiency & simultaneously helps in reduction clear. |
